Introducing the Anecdotes by Artists Fragrances

This 3-piece collection is designed by Patricia Choux and comes with white sculptural caps that connect to the scent within.

Anecdotes by Artists is a new perfumer-first fragrance brand launching exclusively at Sephora.

Fueled by Maesa and founded by industry veteran and Chief Blue Sky & Innovation Officer at Maesa, Dana Steinfeld, the brand gives “Perfume Artists” total creative freedom to formulate scents based on their unvarnished personal memories and raw emotions.

For the inaugural collection, Patricia Choux (the mind behind hits for Jo Malone, NEST, and Henry Rose) is the first perfumer for the brand, taking gourmands and florals into wildly unexpected, defiant territory.

The debut collection features Wild Cousin, The Villanelle, and Painted Petals–each inspired by a deeply personal anecdote from perfumer Patricia’s own life.

Wild Cousin is a warm and sweet gourmand scent with notes of Rum-Soaked Cake, Crème Chantilly, Davana Flower, and Oakwood.

It is topped with a whipped cream-shaped swirl cap and has a caramel color.

The Villainelle is another warm, sweet gourmand with notes of Iced Juniper, Vanilla Resin, Vanilla Crystals, and Incense Smoke.

The cap for this scent is simple, flat, and round, and the bottle has a blue hue.

Painted Petals is a fruity floral fragrance with notes of Strawberry Leaf, Pink Rhubarb, Tuberose Milk, and Jasmine Absolute.

This cap is of a delicate flower petal, and the bottle has a pink hue.
